Fourteen days, one email, a full refund on your first paid plan. After that, cancel any time to stop billing — no trap, no pro-rating math.
Effective: 2026-07-15. Last updated: 2026-07-15.
CleverlyBox sells two things, and they have different refund terms:
If you are not sure which you have: if CleverlyBox charges your card on a recurring basis, you have a subscription. If you paid once and are never billed again, you hold a lifetime licence.
14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription. If, within 14 days of your
first paid charge for a CleverlyBox subscription, you decide CleverlyBox is not the right fit, email
us and we will refund that charge in full and close the subscription. One email. No survey, no
save-offer loop, no retention call.
After that: cancel any time, and you will not be billed again. Cancellation takes effect at the
end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then. We do not pro-rate
or refund partial periods.
This is a deliberately simple rule, and it has two halves. Before you commit, you get a real trial of the paid product: the free plan lets you evaluate CleverlyBox at no cost and with no card on file, and the 14-day guarantee means upgrading to a paid plan is not a one-way door either. After you commit, the money for a period you have already used is not returned — but you are never trapped. You can turn off future billing yourself, at any time, from the dashboard, and you keep the access you paid for until it runs out.
The guarantee applies to the first paid charge on your account, whether that is a monthly or an annual plan. It applies regardless of:
It does not apply to renewal charges, to upgrade or pro-rated upgrade amounts on an account that has already had a paid charge, or to a second subscription on an account that has previously been refunded under this guarantee.
Annual plans are billed once, in advance, for twelve months of service at the price published on the pricing page (currently equivalent to ten months of the monthly price — the discount is the reason to commit for a year).
This section preserves the refund terms that applied to lifetime licence purchases. It is unchanged in substance from the policy in force when those licences were sold. Lifetime licence holders lose nothing by CleverlyBox's move to subscriptions.
30-day money-back guarantee on every CleverlyBox lifetime licence. If within 30 days of your purchase you decided CleverlyBox was not the right fit, you could email us for a full refund of the purchase amount. No survey. No save-offer loop. No pro-rating math.
Any first-time purchase of a CleverlyBox lifetime licence tier (Starter, Pro, or Agency), within 30 days of the purchase date, regardless of how much the platform was used or how many campaigns were sent. Where the licence was bought through an authorised launch partner rather than direct from CleverlyBox, the refund is handled by the original seller — please contact them.
The full amount of the initial licence purchase — Starter ($49), Pro ($79), or Agency ($149). Tier-upgrade deltas were refundable within 30 days of the upgrade purchase.
Moving to a subscription model does not revoke, expire, or convert your lifetime licence, and does not start charging you a recurring fee. See Section 5 of the Terms of Service. If you choose to buy a current subscription plan in addition to your lifetime licence, that subscription is governed by Sections 2 to 4 of this policy.
One email.
Send a message to [email protected] with:
We confirm eligibility (that the charge is within the window) and process the refund. No support call. No "before you go" modal. No survey.
To simply stop future billing, you do not need to email anyone: cancel from Account Settings → Billing. Cancellation is self-service, takes effect at the end of your paid period, and does not require our approval.
Once a refund request is received:
Refunds go back to the original payment method. If that method is closed or expired, email support and we will work with our payment processor to find an alternative. For fraud-prevention reasons, we cannot refund to a card or account that does not belong to the original purchaser.
When a refund is processed, or when a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its paid period, your account moves to the free plan or becomes inactive.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please ask us first — it is faster than a chargeback and we would rather resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback for a charge we would have refunded on request costs both of us time and money.
We reserve the right to suspend an account with an unresolved chargeback until the dispute is settled. This is not a threat, and it is not a reason not to dispute a charge you believe is wrong; it is a statement of what happens operationally while a payment is in dispute.
No. Cancellation stops future billing and you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate. This is deliberate: cancelling is never a "use it or lose it" scramble, and there is no math to argue about.
Email [email protected]. We are not contractually obliged to refund a renewal. In practice, if the renewal was recent and the account has not been used since it renewed, we will generally reverse it and close the subscription — tell us and we will look at it.
No. Inside the 14-day window on a first subscription: full refund. Outside it: cancel to stop future billing, and keep access until the period ends. Clean rules, no usage audits, no argument about whether you used the product "too much" to deserve a refund.
The 14-day guarantee applies to your first paid charge on the account. An upgrade after that is not a fresh guarantee window. You can downgrade again at the next billing period.
No. See Section 5 above, and Section 5 of the Terms of Service. Your licence stands.
That is billed to you by them, not us, and we cannot refund it. Sending is included on every CleverlyBox plan; connecting your own provider from the Business plan upward is optional, and if you do, that provider's fees and terms are between you and them.
